Hybrid performance SUV uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8.
Lamborghini has pushed its Urus SE SUV to the limit with a new Performante version.
Usually reserved for the brand’s highest-performance models, the Performante name was previously used on the standard V8-powered Urus.
It’s the first time that it has found its way onto the recently introduced Urus SE, which combines the same 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor to create the most powerful Urus ever made with a total output of 799bhp and 1,000Nm of torque. It represents an increase of 144bhp and 150Nm respectively over the previous Performante
Lamborghini claims that the Urus SE Performante will go from 0-60mph in just over three seconds and flat-out will manage 194mph. In addition, the Urus SE Performante can manage 37 miles on a single charge.

An extensive use of carbon fibre has aimed to bring the Urus SE Performante’s weight down, with components such as the bonnet and front and rear bumpers made from the lightweight material. Two new spoilers help to boost the car’s aerodynamic properties, too. New 23-inch wheels get a Y-spoke design which is unique to the Performante.
Underneath, the Urus SE Performante gets new dual-chamber air suspension which helps to reduce body roll while also helping to reduce vibrations by 25 per cent in a boost to overall refinement.
Inside, there’s a new 12.3-inch screen which gets graphics inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar. Ahead of the driver sits a second 12.3-inch display, while a carbon fibre bezel on the steering wheel reflects the widespread use of the material throughout the rest of the car.
The new Performante is the most powerful Urus that Lamborghini has made.
