Lightweight model has been unveiled at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.
Caterham is commemorating 100 years of the famous Nurburgring with a special-edition version of its Seven.
Called the Seven Nurburgring Edition, it’s a limited-edition take on the brand’s lightweight model with only 100 examples available to order.
The Seven Nurburgring Edition utilises a 2.0-litre Ford Duratec engine, while bespoke race suspension developed by Bilstein has been tuned ‘around the demands of the Nurburgring’. It means that this special edition car gets its own bespoke suspension tune, separate from those of ‘regular’ Sevens.
With its lightweight design, the Seven will manage 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and will top out at 136mph.
On the outside, the Nurburgring Edition gets official logos from the famous ‘Green Hell’, while red and grey colours are available. Further custom colours are available to those who want a more personal colour.

Other upgrades include a red-coloured roll abr, a Nurburging mesh grille with Seven logo and a gunmetal grey chassis. A composite aero screen and carbon fibre wings help to finish off the look and feel of the car. Inside, there’s bespoke Nurburging embroidery and four-point road harnesses. Sequential shift lights above the steering wheel help drivers to get the best possible gear shift each time.
Each car also gets an individually numbered plaque to showcase its position in the build slot.
